This 10,088 sq. ft. addition provides 6 new classrooms and 1 new large severe-profound classroom for Longfellow Middle School. This addition also doubles as a storm shelter for the school, one of the many added in the Norman Public Schools System. The structure of the storm shelter consists of precast concrete walls and a composite steel beam and concrete roof system.
