The Dolese Concrete Block Manufacturing Plant in Oklahoma City is 60,000 sq. ft. and was built in multiple phases. Phase I of the manufacturing plant was completed in the early 1990s, while Phase II did not begin construction until 2010. Being a manufacturing plant, the foundation design is always a unique challenge due to the large machinery that has to be supported. The structure consists of drilled piers and grade beams for the foundation, precast concrete columns with CMU walls and concrete double tees for the roof.
