jj2Mr. Joyce is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Oklahoma & Kansas with 20 years of engineering experience.  His experience includes coordinating the design of several major projects in the Oklahoma City area, including many school projects.

Mr. Joyce currently serves as a past President of the National Council of Structural Engineering Associations.  He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Risk Management Program of the Council of American Structural Engineers.  He is a former President of both the Oklahoma Society of Structural Engineers and the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Concrete Institute.

While President of NCSEA, Mr. Joyce had two editorials published in STRUCTURE magazine, the leading national publication for the structural engineering profession. View a scan of one article titled “Are the Inspections On Your Job Really Special?”.

james2bMr. Hoffman is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Kansas, Texas, Iowa, Colorado and Wisconsin with twelve years of engineering experience.  His experience includes responsibility for the structural design of various projects around the state of Oklahoma.

 Mr. Hoffman is Past President of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Concrete Institute and a member of the National American Concrete Institute, Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute, the Oklahoma Structural Engineers Association, the Structural Engineering Council of Oklahoma, and the American Institute of Steel Construction. Mr. Hoffman has authored published papers in Proceedings of the 13th U.S. National Congress of Applied Mechanics, 1998 and Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, 1998.

 

large arrow Robert Mulzet, Chief of Production

Mr. Mulzet has extensive experience in structural detailing producing both the structural design drawings as well as the plant production drawings.  His unique ability to visualize complex construction details and his communication and problem solving skills quickly enabled him to advance first in the pre-cast concrete engineering field and later in general structural engineering field. robt1b

Mr. Mulzet started his career by working at Thomas Concrete as a part of a special program while attending U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City.  After graduating in 1982 he became a member of the Thomas Concrete engineering staff. He was recruited to Sturm Engineering Company (now Engineering Solutions) in 1988.  He then advanced from draftsman, to chief draftsman, to supervising all drafting production.  He was named a company officer and vice-president in 1999.

 He has had supervisory responsibility for all computer aided drafting, coordination, and quality control of projects around the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and state of Oklahoma. His knowledge includes structural and pre-cast detailing and he has skill in dealing with both employees and customers.

We have a complete staff to ensure proper service and quality of production.  From support personnel to technicians, from interns to quality control - our staff is both professional and dedicated. Engineering Solutions staff consists of three licensed engineers, one engineering intern, five project technicians, a quality control manager, and an office manager / secretary. Currently, all of our employees work out of our Oklahoma City office. Below, find a photo of a few of our staff members.
